The WFNR-EFNR Regional Meeting in conjunction with the 19th Congress of the Society for the Study of Neuroprotection and Neuroplasticity (SSNN) and the 19th International Summer School of Neurology, took place in Baku, Azerbaijan, on July 10–11.

This event served as a platform for international collaboration and knowledge exchange, emphasizing neurorehabilitation and brain recovery advancements. Renowned experts gathered to share practical applications, innovative approaches, and the latest research on neurological disorders and injuries, including stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Prof. Paola Marangolo, a Professor of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the Department of Humanities Studies, University Federico II in Naples, Italy, highlighted the latest advancements in speech and language therapy and emphasized the critical role of family and community-based approaches in treating aphasia.
